Around the Block Butcher & Market is a retail butcher and grocery shop in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario. We focus on providing high quality food products for our customers and great service. It is our commitment to good food that drives the quality of everything at the shop. We source many products directly from local and regional farms and kitchens.

ATB is often looking for both part-time and full-time help.
If you have a kitchen background, meat cutting experience, a grocery background, and/or enjoy customer service, please get at us! We look forward to hearing from you.

SHOP ASSISTANT
Full-time food prep and customer service
Our ideal candidate:

Has previous kitchen or meat cutting experience

Has previous customer service experience

Communicates to both customers and other team members effectively

Thrives in a fast-paced environment

Keeps a clean and organized work area

Can change tasks as required

Is always looking to expand product knowledge

Can lift 30 kg regularly

Is punctual and reliable

Can work weekends
We walk somewhere in the range of 20,000 steps on a busy day.
Pay rate will be confirmed during the interview process with the candidate.
